Mobile App

Who is this for? Everyone. The Adomo mobile app puts approvals, chat, and notifications on your phone, for iOS and Android.

Most of what reaches you from Adomo is something you can act on in seconds: an approval, a question, a status update. The mobile app is built around exactly that.

What you can do in the app

  • Approvals. See everything waiting on you, open the full context, and approve, reject, or send feedback in a couple of taps.
  • Chat. The same Adomo chat as the web app: ask questions, kick off processes, check on runs.
  • Notifications. Your notification inbox, in sync with the web app.

Sign in with the same account you use on the web:

  • Email and password
  • Sign in with Google
  • Sign in with Microsoft

Sign in with Apple and sign in with GitHub are not available. The mobile app supports email and password, Google, and Microsoft only.

If your company uses single sign-on through Google or Microsoft, use the matching button.

Push notifications

Once you've signed in on your phone, Adomo can deliver push notifications to it automatically; no address to enter. Add Mobile Push to your preference order under Settings > Notifications (in either app) to control where it sits relative to your other channels. See Notifications (for Users) for how preference order works.

Biometric unlock

You can optionally lock the app behind Face ID (iOS) or fingerprint (Android). When enabled, the app re-locks after a short period of inactivity and asks for biometrics before showing your data again. Turn it on in the app's settings.

FAQ

Do I need the app to approve from my phone?

No. Approval messages on Email, SMS, Slack, Teams, Google Chat, and WhatsApp all include a link or buttons that work in your phone's browser. The app is the nicest experience, not a requirement.

I'm not receiving push notifications. What should I check?

  1. Check your phone's notification settings allow Adomo.
  2. Confirm you're signed in to the app (push registration happens at sign-in).
  3. Check Settings > Notifications includes Mobile Push in your preference order.

Where do I get the app?

The app is available for iOS and Android, distributed via an install link rather than through the public app stores - you won't find it by searching there. Ask your workspace admin for the install link for your platform, or email [email protected] and we'll send it to you.
