Mobile App

Who is this for? Everyone. The Adomo mobile app puts approvals, chat, and notifications on your phone, for iOS and Android.

Most of what reaches you from Adomo is something you can act on in seconds: an approval, a question, a status update. The mobile app is built around exactly that.

What you can do in the app

  • Approvals. See everything waiting on you, open the full context, and approve, reject, or send feedback in a couple of taps.
  • Chat. The same Adomo chat as the web app: ask questions, kick off processes, check on runs.
  • Notifications. Your notification inbox, in sync with the web app.

Sign in with the same account you use on the web, using your email and password.

Google and Microsoft sign-in are not available in the mobile app yet - they work on the web only. If you created your account with Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft and have never set an Adomo password, set one first: on the web sign-in page choose Forgot password? and follow the emailed link. Then use that email and password on your phone.

The sign-in screen also has an Enterprise SSO option for organizations that have been set up for it by Adomo.

Push notifications

Once you've signed in on your phone, Adomo can deliver push notifications to it automatically; no address to enter. Add Mobile Push to your preference order under Settings > Notifications (in either app) to control where it sits relative to your other channels. See Notifications (for Users) for how preference order works.

Locking the app

The app supports locking behind Face ID (iOS) or fingerprint (Android), but there is no switch for it in the app's settings yet, so it is off for everyone today. Until that ships, use your phone's own screen lock to protect the app.

FAQ

Do I need the app to approve from my phone?

No. Approval messages on Email, SMS, Slack, Teams, Google Chat, and WhatsApp all include a link or buttons that work in your phone's browser. The app is the nicest experience, not a requirement.

I'm not receiving push notifications. What should I check?

  1. Check your phone's notification settings allow Adomo.
  2. Confirm you're signed in to the app (push registration happens at sign-in).
  3. Check Settings > Notifications includes Mobile Push in your preference order.

Where do I get the app?

The app is available for iOS and Android. Ask your workspace admin for the current install link for your platform, or email [email protected] and we'll send it to you along with the store listing if one is available in your region.
